WLOPA is a friendly shooting club nestled in 54
acres of beautiful Wolcott, CT. We offer organized and
informal trap and skeet shooting, pistol and rifle shooting,
air rifle shooting, and hunting. We conduct onsite pistol
permit training courses, personalized handgun and rifle training,

Our charitable event to support breast cancer
research, our
"Breast Cancer Shoot", will be held again, on July 17, 2010
starting at 9am. In addition to Trap Shooting, we've added
Pistol too! It's a great day for a great cause. Bring
the family.
Past WLOPA events:
Women's self defense class was held on June 13th.
These classes are great. Have your wife or daughter come to
the next one to be announced.
Spring Cleanup held April 17th. The turnout was not
great due to the weather. We will schedule another one to
continue cleaning up the grounds.
April 25th we held an ATA Registered Shoot.
The CT Citizens Defense League (CCDL)
held a get together at WLOPA to raise funds for the 2nd Amendment
March in Hartford 4/10, and in Washington DC 4/19. It was a
great time.
40 WLOPA members attended the Friends of NRA dinner at the Aqua Turf
on March 27, 2010
Come and visit us and see all of the improvements made to the
clubhouse, grounds, ranges, especially our new Trap Office / Warm-up
House (now finished). We're fixing the drainage run-off
in the Trap fields also.
