The WLOPA-AIR  'SHOOT FOR FREE' program is designed to give shooters a break in their match fees at WLOPA-AIR events. Although entry fees for an event are only $5, a day's worth of shootinjg can add up quickly for the shooter who wants to participate in multiple events.

There are two ways you can shoot for free at WLOPA events.  Here's how:

1.  Bring a first-time guest to a WLOPA-AIR match.  Fees are waived for both you and your guest for all events and competitions offered on that day.

2,  Join WLOPA.  In addition to having access to the club facilities, WLOPA members shoot for free at WLOPA-AIR events.  If you are a shooter and participate often in airgun shoots, this is the way to go.  Not counting a first-year work duty assessment which is refunded to all WLOPA members who complete 10 hours of work duty in their first year of membership, a one-time environmental impact assessment, and application fee, ongoing membership dues after year one are $95.

Over the course of a year, WLOPA-AIR offers a total of 10 rifle silhouette events, 10 pistol silhouette events, 7 field target rifle events, and 7 field target pistol events.  Within all of these events, there are multiple classes, so you can realistically shoot in 2or more events on any given match day.  Doing the math, a regular non-WLOPA member who shoots at each event would easily spend $150-200 in match fees throughout the course of the year.  At an annual membership cost of $95, this means that a routine shooter would save about $55-105 in out of pocket expense by joining WLOPA.
