The Problem with Field Targets
David Day
The problem with the manufacture of field targets is that if you have even minimal skills at painting, then the field targets end up in your office instead of out being shot up!
When one turns out really good, I can't bear to shoot it.

The woodpecker was designed and painted by Craig Taylor, Sponge Bob is a Troyer-style target (note the KZ over his spongy little heart), and the Coke and Soup cans are Pounded Paddle targets that Fred Bingham was kind enough to build which I subsequently painted. Maybe there is a future in selling these things as pop-art!
Barney looked pretty good too, but after a certain Chief of Police who will remain nameless worked him over with my P-70, he's looking too rough for a photo op!
